Abbotleigh Avenue

The ‘wavy’ roof shape is derived from the position of the house on a slope rising from the water’s edge. Each ‘wave’ represents a wing of the house each of which can be used separately for living and working or in combination as a generous family home. Views of the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour are incorporated in combination with sustainability features, such as passive solar design, natural building materials and finishes, rainwater collection, solar water heating panels and high efficiency triple combustion burner with wetback.
